In order to apply for the HDFC Loan against Securities, the applicant needs to match the following criteria:

  • The applicant must be a resident of the country
  • The applicant can be Resident Indians, NRI, HUF, Sole Proprietorship, Partnership firm, Pvt. Ltd. Company for certain types of securities.

Terms for HDFC Loan Against Securities
  • Pre-payment charges are allowed only after 6 months, with a 2% fee if pre-closed before the end of the tenure.
  • Processing fee of 1.00% of the loan amount or a minimum of Rs. 2000, plus applicable taxes and stamp duty.
  • Loan disbursement occurs only after submission of documents along with the pledge.
  • Pledging Fees of up to Rs. 5/- per NSC/KVP/Bond/Insurance Policy/MF Unit Certificate.
  • The margin requirement is regularly reviewed.
  • Applicants must provide updates to the bank in case of a job or home address change.
